Hi all,

Installed my Dreamscience recent;y. Have only tried the 'Performance' map of the 5 so far.

Anyway, How do I back up my maps on to the disc provided?
There are no instructions on how & the CD to use is just blank. I would also back them up onto the USB stick as I think its best to have more than 1 backup as it is very important.

You using hand held unit or the DSCi Platform?

 

Im using DSCi.

It came with 2 usb sticks & the obd cable. I was expecting the manual on the usb stick to say how to do this but it doesnt.

 

The one USB stick is the security dongle, the other one will be used to down load the standard map and upload the new ones. I ain't saved the standard map, knackered my laptop so transferred the software to a new one and all is fine.
I did get a leaflet on how to use it with mine.
If you didn't get one ring them up in Hull and they will talk you through it all mate, really great service from them.

 

I will send them an email aswell, but thought that as its so popular, somebody else has. I dont want to be left without the standard map as I may upgrage to a facelift ST is the right one turned up.

 

It will always be on the USB stick you use and if you trade it in to a dealer they wont be bothered.
Mate at work bought an st from a dealer that had a ic staneless system and decat yet it was sold as standard. He took it back because of the eml

 

(stupid phone)
Because the eml light was on and they put it back to standard, he wasn't into cars and didn't realise at the time.
