Trying to get rid of my Focus, I have 11 months tax on it, want to cash it in and put 6 months on it.

How do I go about cashing in the current tax disc?
Can I still tax the car while I'm waiting for the money from the old Tax disc?

Will the difference in amount you get for 10/11 months tax and the cost of 6 months tax really be worth the hassle and effort... specially when a car having nearly a year of tax will be something buyers will like the sound of.

hi mate you can cash in your tax disc but you cant tax it again for 21days go on the dvla web site and go to tax disc refund its all on there you will have to down load form v14 and send with the disc just done one myself hope this helps
