Thats the engine in the US Ford Taurus. That Article is dated july 2009 so is a bit out dated now

 

Yeh Ford did a massive reliability test with this engine.
Included 100,000miles worth of harsh mileage before racing another pickup, doing a 24hr race flat out towing two nascar cars, pulling heavy logs up hills and doing the dakar rally!
They need to stick this engine in the Kuga or the Mondeo.

 

Good engine.Would be.better if a tuner got there hands on it.

 

i bet just off a simple remap that would make around 400bhp
