Default 59 plate Focus radio code

Before going any further I am not asking anybody to give me the code!

My boss has a Focus and has no radio code, the unit is a 6000CD, now I have some software for the codes but it seems to be all part of the dash. Is it the same as the old units where you remove it to get the serial number and then get the code from there or is there an alternative method? If I do need to whip it out how do you remove it as it doesn't look as straight forward as the older stuff I generally get my hands dirty with.

Cheers in advance

It's the round one with 10 buttons right as opposed to the square one?
