I have a problem with the 7speed smg box in the M6,

It has recently (tonight) stopped selecting 1,3,5,7 and R so i can only get 2,4,6 and this is only available in manual mode.

Any ideas of where to start looking i.e. fuses or is the box fubard?

Sounds like a software fault of some kind. The boxes are complex bits of kit so it's probably more economical to get BMW to check it from the word go, and fix it from there.
