How come they are so expensive?
Is it just because they are rare or is Cossie Tax?
Were they fitted to any other cars?
After the complete underside resto of my 3 Door I really like to replace all 4 for some brand new ones.

Any idea which models though?
I looked at Granada one but they have different plugs ends or is it just a case of cutting the plug of and rewiring?

Unfortunately Ford have cottoned on to the fact that people like us still want parts for our cars and are bumping up the prices on all old stock
eg: when I 1st bought my car the rad was fooked, I bought a new one from Ford £190, a few years later I ask for price and availablity on a standard rad for a customer, Ford tell me £500+vat

eg: abs sensors, I have bought a few, the 1st time I paid around £80, the 2nd time around £95 and now as posted above they are £150+the vat

the words total bollox spring to mind, the last couple of front sensors I had in stock I sold for £300 the pair which is less than going to blue scam oval to get them, the rears are no longer available as I've tried
even through my european contacts, so 2nd hand ones are the way to go me thinks

You can't rewire them as it's coax cable.
Is your sensor defiantly faulty, normally it's dirt that causes problems?

As above, pretty standard setup on most sierras and granadas, I never look for cossie parts when it comes to ABS, a 2.0 DOHC 4x4 for example has the same setup as a 4x4, so I just find parts off of one of those, 9 times out of 10 you'll get the whole lot in better condition for a steal.
Post a photo of the sensor if you have it handy just to avoid any confusion.

I got 2 front sensors total 129£ including shipment to Denmark
so about 55£ each I guess
they where identical to the original ones I pulled out....
it seems they don't have them listed, but write them an email and ask
