Getting rid of an interior with airbags?

Getting a new interior for my car, my old seats have airbags in them.
Obviously I can't take them down the tip.
How can I get rid of them?

Just take them to the tip and chuck them in the skip there not going to blow up without a electric feed to them.

Could you connect some long wires on the loom, stand well back and tap them on a battery bang... Then top em. Or eBay collect only fiver no reserve?

Rag and bone man had mine out my escort van. Ok they didnt have airbags but to be honest they seem to take anything thats got metal on it.
