Hi guys, i'm running bike carbs on my 2ltr zetec and i'm thinking about fitting trumpets instead of air filters. How much of a difference do the length of trumpets make? can you affect power by fitting the wrong size?

 

the length of the trumpet and diamater of the actual carb will have an effect on power, yes.

usually the longer they are they more torque they make, and the bigger the carb diameter the more power.

its a toss up between the 2 tho!

and you can get sock type filters that still fit over the trumpet bell mouths
