passenger headlight out oon wifes saab, the computer says dipped, looking everywere i think its a h7 but it has xenon headlights which exact bulb do i need as theres loads of xenon bulbs? or is it any h7 xenon bulb i need?

its a 04 saab 9-3 turbo convertible

 

It's probably a D2S bulb if it's the Xenon one, different from H7's and you can't buy them in most shops. Having said that, I just replaced the xenons in my M5 and it's
only the main beam that's xenon and the dipped IS H7. I shall google it for you and see if
I can find out.

 

well on the bulbs theres the sidelight the flasher which looks normal then the one that i presume is the henon thats the one thats out, ive googled d2s and found a place that does the pair of them for 20 quid why is it so difficult to find out which bulb i need

 

usually if a proper xenon bulb has blown its the ballast unit at fault if you fit a new bulb they will usually blow again soon after
the bulbs used to be £80 plus vat each as well when xenons first came about!!!

 

i know as my mate told me the other day, only just spent on a dmf clutch and cylinders on it last month, wish i burnt the fecking thing, needs a screen and two tyres also
