I was looking on ebay at Mk2 Focus RS's and came across the JS500 car at Focus RS Direct.

To quote the advert is says "To Be Fussy, The Car Needs To 2 Front Tyres And The Drive Shaft Is A Bit Clicky". Does anyone else think that is a bit pants? Surely for all the price of tyres and a CV Joint/Shaft it should be done. Why would it not be done if it's forsale at a specialist. That would be a major put off for me.

And the video in the advert is totally crap. Why would you put a video of the car being thrashed about a industrial estate and nearly locking up at the end of the video. I'm sure everyone knows a car like this will have been driven hard, go well and brake well. Seems VERY amateur to me.

Yeah I heard that aswell. They do sometimes sound like the have a miss but that seems more evident. It could be exaggerated on the video though.

 

Its either a misfire or a rev limiter.

They are a tiptop company who sell nice mk2s, but thats not a great way of advertising!

Surprising since I have heard a lot of people praising this company. A video of it getting ragged around over and over really isn't good to see though, something a chav would love, but someone spending that amount of cash is unlikely to get wood over.

£3500 for the Turbo kit alone?? Surely not the best bang for buck option available??!

Plus, quoting the standard cars MPG is absolute bollox and a complete mis-representation of what you'll get from a JS500, 488bhp car IMO.

I do agree slightly if it was me I would scrap the video and fix the bits and just ask for £500 more for the car it's worth it

 

Funny, I saw that and thought the same.

I simply don't understand why you'd post a video of the car being trashed on its own for sale advert .

 

I thought that was priced ok. But as said sort the tyres out for fook sake

 

That will be the traction control mate, I had a guy come up to me and asked if mines was running on 3 cylinders as he heard me going past earlier that day.
