Should be easy tbh, as the escort had a zetec and mtx75 box so in theory should only be minor niggles to get it to fit,

what engine and gearbox is currently in the Escort?

 

its a gti so yeh has the zetec as standard

didnt know if they have the same mounts as each other or not

if they do weekend job for me

 

I'm 90% sure they do have the same mounts, what gearbox does the GTi have is it the IB5 or the MTX75?

 

Looking to do this to my GTi in the summer, from what I have seen it should go in reletively easily, just need to sort something out for the gearbox, how can you tell which gearbox is which? Then its all about management, space and exhaust.
