right im getting my cosworth engine built up and the company that have been building my engine have gave me a price on some forged wossner piston and pec rod combo of £799 thats included vat for any 4 cylinder engine is this a good price ??

there were a few bad reports about wossner pistons on here a while back,
i went for the cosworth pistons and rods that pec do,
so far so good

 

I've run Wössner pistons for about 20.000 miles with no problems
I believe the problems that people had with these is the clearance they used

 

for yb or any other 4 cylinder engine mate

 

yh it is clearnece issues with wossener pistons but having good engineers u wont have ay insurance

 

ive been qouted the cosworth with pec rods for £892 all in from futuremotorsports.com

 

Up to 500hp on a stock rod the best piston is Mahle, If using a diff/longer rod I would use CP pistons.

I have used JE pictons (ok its no a cossie) ant they have been fine! they will also cusomise a bit if you ask nicely!
