Default Using Cosworth Rear Calipers on a Hydro Handbrake?

Are they powerful enough to EASILY lock the rear wheels on a hydro handbrake?

Reason i ask is, my 3dr is crap, but thats obviously on a cable setup, and was wondering what they are like when you run a wand through them instead?

Was gunna buy a Wilwood 4 pot superlite setup but i reckon its gunna over-brake a mk2 escort massively, even with a bias box.

What are your thoughts?

Easily lock the rear wheels mate. It's been a while since I driven a cossie with a hydronic handbrake but I remember it was effective

Use citrone xantia front calipers mate. Good size massive piston and have the hand brake on the front on them

ive got a set on my kit car with a wand, but not driven it to tell you but it locks rear fine at 5mph i carnt see why they wont work well enough, if you really want to lock them fit an extension to give more leverage
