i'm nearing completion on my mk4 escort zetec conversion and i'm just sorting pipe work etc, but remember the black top water pump running anti clockwise and was wondering how to get around this issue as space is limited to run another pulley to reverse it its holding me up now so any help would be great

 

i changed the impela.

 

you can buy/make an idler pulley to solve the issue.

 

i fitted a bracket were the powersteering was and used a pulley from the rear of the engine. then used a smaller belt

only costs a few Ł
