Default lowered rs turbo fiesta

Hi everyone, i have recently purchased a rs turbo fiesta which has been lowered and sitting on spax springs and shocks, the problem is at my ripe old age i'm finding it a bit to low Lol,has anyone got any idear how i can find out how much it has been lowered without striping half the cars suspension down? Also i live in croyden and would be interested in meeting any members for a beer or a coffee to compare cars, tips ect and just have a laugh,i like all fords regardless of age and my son has an escort rs turbo which some of you may have seen on the oddkidd stand, look forward to hearing from people with a common interest in great cars, thanks Cliff

Just post a picture of the car from the side. Its pretty easy to tell how much its been lowered from a picture.

That looks like it has been lowered -35mm.

Has it been reshelled? As it doesn't have the rear pop out windows.

blimmy thats good! And yes it has the guy who had the original car had a very good low milage car that basically roted around him which as we know is typical of the mk3 so he purchased an xr2i shell and swopped it all over, shame its not an rst on the v5 but the shell is the same and she has only done 70,000 miles,i have the the mot's for the original car to prove this, i wounder if there is a way of getting the log book changed,do you know if it is possible to change the rear windows over? thanks a million you have been a great help, cliff

Windows are as easy as remove and replace. Finding a set is the more difficult bit. I have a set on mine, but I need to find some new rubber seals!

hi its a runner but the last owners have boged alot of things on it and the paint work is faded a bit you could say its a project but ment to be my daily drive bit silly to have bought a car thats now needing some work .

body work is good no welding needed just oil leak and its smoking ive posted a question on Q&A for advice ,my breaks are good on the front think that handbrake needs adjusting think the od bush needs doing and the car seams lower at the back i am in two minds to ither by two new standard dampers for the back see if that levers it out or it could be od size springs which wouldn't suprise me.

Its had t3 converstion but not done the best way they have left off the water cooling pipes for the turbo who ever did it hope fully the thread hole are not too rusted up so can fit water pipes and the other bodge was the alternator they have fitted a muti v belt pully and alternator but the alternator was just resting wegde by a peice of wood away from the sump

ive just started on the sump its got a leak that will be fun while i was takeing alternator off will change it all back to right single pully
