Can anyone point me in the right direction for splicing a 2wd loom into another car loom as im at the point of connecting up the loom to the donor car loom any ideas ??

In this picture does the solid black wire IGNITION FEED is that a switched ignition positive ???? direct from the ignition switch just want to be 100% before i connect it up thats all...switched positive seemed a weird colour choice thats all black ??? i assoicate it with earth see...



Fuel Pump = Black Red Striped (Thick Wire)
Water Temp = Brown White Striped
Oil Pressure = Brown Green Striped
ECU Diag Light = Brown Red Striped
Rev Counter = Green
Ignition Feed = Solid Black or Solid Red (Thick Wire)
Perminant Live = Red Blue Striped (Thick Wire) or 2 black wires on a 3 Door loom

 

The black is switched from the ignition as per diagram i used the same diagram to wire the loom into my mk2 escort m8 worked for me

 

So its a switched live of the ignition switch yeah not switched earth ?
