Default What do people pay for RS turbo insurace?

I've never really insured my RS turbo properly, its always just been added as an additional vehicle when i wanted to drive it... But i think next year it would be good to get it a proper policy.

I would like all the mods declared and possibly some kind of agreed value, should it ever be stolen.

I probably don't do more than 1500-2000 miles in it a year. Its going to be no more than 230-250 bhp.

Avo coil overs on the front
Cosworth brakes
Megasquirt
Fast road cam
etcetc.

So nothing amazing.

Im 23 with 3 years NC's on my other car, with 3 points which come off in Feb (3 years).

What sort of money would people expect to pay?

Rob,

My turbo cab near 200bhp cossie managed etc all mods declared, was in the region of , £500 tpft

I'm 32 though had 2years ncb on the cab, 7 years on my daily hack.

That was limited to 3000 miles per year, which was a joke as on the cossie management it was lucky to manage 500

Also had to be garage after 10pm or wasn't covered for theft.

Had a good quote fom need to insure buthad already renewed last time, I've since had a even better quote through heritage who I will be contacting again when the cars running again next month

Just to resurrect an old post,

Just waiting for need to insure to get back to me, but adrian flux has just quoted £560, which i though was a little high considering the car is SDP and only does 1000 miles a year?

Ill post up what my other quotes are when i get them....
