whats the best saph off sets
as above whats the best off set on 17x8 rims on a saph i don't mind if front and rear are differant just want to fill the arches but not rub

For the front yeah, but to fill rear arches i'd go more. I run et25 rear which fill the arches a bit better. I did run et15 before that. Quick pic

i'd say anywhere between et32-35 and if your car is lowered you might want to correct the negative camber so the wheels sit flush.
A few people off here are using camber shims to sort this

If your getting 17x8 go for 225/35 tyres all round, make use of the 8 width.

Most of the shims are for toe, nothing to do with camber at all.
