Been offered a Focus RS gearbox...
with drive shaft for £450 delivered? good price?
For the Series 1's new 16v ZT
Will it handle 300-330bhp?

Also is the Focus RS 'box the cable or rod version and whats the revelance?

the gearbox mount positions are different and driveshafts are totally different

Think it is cable change mate and iam pretty sure it aint gonna bolt stright in to the S1!

Not worried about the fitting I've got someone with experiance on MTX75's on hand to fit it and make the driveshafts and mounts.. In actual fact it easier to fit the Series one than S2 and FRST
I've agreed to buy it now its as new
cheapest ATB diff EVAR!

isnt thee a 370/380bhp Focus RS on one of these boxes
should be good for 300/330bhp easily i would imagine

We have a customer pushing 360bhp in a FRS and his seems to be coping with no apparent problems
