ok so the pics arent that helpfull but here goes, any1 know what this pipe is from the backbox??

ive not had 1 like it b4
not unduely loud
its all stainless
it hasnt a propper 'roll' on the end, just shaped if u get what i mean

I recon if its just the tail section then its a Scorpion....if you look up the tailpipe and it narows in significantly then this would back up initial thoughts.

all the scorpians that ive had alwasy have scorpian stamped in the box on on the tail pipe

My old one never had scorpion on it bet thats what make it is

 

looks like a scorpion one to me too. Got one on my orion but rolled inwards and looks more like that. As B8 said if you look inside the tail pipe it should narrow up

 

Mine is a Scorpion (old school) without the stamp on the tail pipe . they look simular

my other rst with a 3" scorpian(looks not like the above 1 huh ) its a 3" with a propper roll on teh edge


every scorpian ive had has had a propper rolled edge like this
(my frst)

the inside has about a 5mm lip round the inside of the tailpipe where the back box meets the tail pipe but im pretty sure most pipes ive ever had have this

 

oh and its a full system

 

i was comparing the back box itself , dont know what tail pipe options were about in 1990

that tail pipe is of a magnex

 

Has it got a flexi joint where the downpipe joins the rest of the system? If so it's a Magnex, looks very similar to mine.

 

looks like a scorpion to me a mates got a scorpion on his s2 with out a stamp on it
