Ive noticed a bit of oil coming from where the dump valve lets the air out, alsowhen i took the garge pipe and hose off there was a slight bit of oil in there too, is this normall. It doesnt smoke on idle or at full boost or even whe its been stood over night.

 

i think a slight bit of oil is fine as most rs turbo have it dont forget the youngest rs turbo is 14 years old so you are bound to find a small amount

 

Yeah small ammounts of Oil is OK.Too much though and it could be the oil seals on your Turbo

 

i had oil coming out of mine too, and it stunk every time it went off and was making a mess of the engine bay. so i ditched it and i'm not running with out one

 

But that doesnt cure the problem! (tho im with you 100%) cus now rather than oil goin in ya engine bay its just glogging up ya intercooler and inlet!!

I would recomend taking off ya top boost hose and checking it!

 

when i said a mess, i didnt mean its was all over, just was creating a gold patch on the underside on the bonnet and misting over the rocker cover. checked in the boost pipe and theres hardly anything, nothing worth worrying about

 

Indeed it wont it could be caused by back pressure in your block (oil rings) blocking the dump valve wont stop this as it will find the next easiest place to escape from like dip stick, rocker cap metering head return!!

It may not be that bad and like others have said a small amount is norm but keep an eye on it
