Ford Sierra Xr4i - 2.8i V6 - Rear Wheel Drive

This is my dad's old Sierra, no longer needed due to buying a cossie 4x4 and has sat in my lock up gathering dust and going to waste when wouldnt take much to have it back on road. Also needing room as lock up is getting a bit full and looking to buy a car spit for a 2 door sierra.

Very rare car nowadays in standard condition, with a low mileage of 92k. All original bodywork, still got the couchline along the side of the car and standard alloys with really good tyres. But please remember the car is 28 years old! Is in running condition but only been driven around the lock up/and a little outside so lucky to cover a mile in the last couple of years. Brakes/Handbrakes not seized.

It has the in-dash computer that tells you the fuel consumption/etc, heated rear screen, probably alot more that Ive missed.

Car has been dry stored for the last couple of years and currently have no use for the car, no rush to sell, just trying to make room.

No tax or Mot due to being dry stored for around 3 years.
This car itself has appeared in Classic Car and Top Gear. Has some past MOT's/Services/Receipts/Etc.

Car itself is in really good condition for the year, It could do with a bit of a clean up, also has the usual dash cracking. Like expected some stonechips on the front and some touch ups but all original paintwork and coachlines along the side of the car so. Original alloys with excellent tyres. Just little niggles like the touch ups been done and I think there is a blow in the exhaust. Mirrors could do with look at, door lock cover is damaged but lock fine.

Has a private plate in picture but original plate was transferred back onto the car when owner sold the car and I have the documents to proof the plate transfer.

Would make a good restoration(even though wouldnt take much).

thanks mate, hoping it wont be too hard to shift as there isnt many of these about nowadays. Would be keeping but keep filling the lock up with more projects and something has to go, unfortunately this is the first.

Bit far fetched but if someone is wanting to trade a descent saph cossie, preferably 4x4 for this a St170, Mk4 1.7tdi Astra Van and maybe a Bmw 318i Se E46 shape I might be tempted lol.

Im just outside Haddington in East Lothian. Yeah think it is a good price, will be worth alot in the future but need room this now as ive got a handful of projects going on and space is very limited especially as I keep seeing other cars I want lol.

Csm, your not by any chance the guy that had the cossie manuals on ebay last week are you?

3dr Cossie - Would love to but out of my price range escpecially at this time of year, the missus would kick my arse as its my son's first christmas lol Will just have to get my finger out my arse once this is sold and get on with my 3dr cossie restoration!

The cosworth mags and manuals were on disc ?

if so yes, but someone from outside the UK bought them even though i stated i wont post outside the UK in bold red writing

haha well I might take them off your hands then to save you putting them back up (a tenner ok for them?) ... My dad was wanting them but i forgot about the bidding even though he told me 25 mins before hand lol Could probably pop along for them tomorrow if i get time.

Cant believe it myself to be honest, I thought someone on here would have snapped it up by now to be honest. My location seems to be the problem with a lot of people trying to sort transport, is there no one in Scotland that likes Xr4i's? lol

Hi, still dont seem to be getting any notifications for this post for some reason :s Marc's coming to see it tomorrrow, if not i will let you know (xr2i rs).

Going to be a bit gutted when it sells as its one of the better ones but if needs must I guess... If i had cleared out some of my other cars sitting in my lock up this woudnt be getting sold.
