Was just browsing the top gear website. Came across the Focus ST.

Is it me but I think it looks ok, just the front end lets it down. but compared to the new Vauxhall gtc and the other new cars out there does'nt look to bad.

I really like it but you would have thought they would have designed a new wheel for it

 

I think they've ruined the rear end. Those rear lights are hideous.

 

The estate version in Fast Ford looks much nicer imo.

 

Like that alot more than the press photos in orange!

Black looks sleek as fuck!

 

Shame it is only a 5 door.

 

Rear lights make it look like some cheap Korean model, the wheels are dog shit as well(the concept picture of the car had much better looking wheels)

The centre exit exhaust looks quality as does the interior! Shame there is no wild colours, the orange just looks gold from the pics I have seen.

 

That's a nice looking Mazda 3.

 

Think it looks cool. Looks better in the flesh too.

I think the original ST (pre face lift) models alloys would look much better though.

Would love to go for a test drive in one! Might have to go to a dealer and book a test drive in one when they are available.

 

Imo looks nice than the RS...

 

Dont like it the rs looked something special that looks like the focus with the old st wheels.

 

Looks good in black you cant make it out it looks like a krill

 

Looks much better than the previous model, they look so big and bulbus, sort of like a puffer fish in defence mode.

 

Will be interesting to see how well they sell.

I love my fords and i was having a look round a ford showroom yesterday and thought the cars in the show room looked a bit boring. It felt like i was in a toyota dealership.Look at the sporty models vauxhall have what do ford have ooowwww a zetec s. Im not slating them but just think there a bit boring.

 

Looks good - really need to loose those shit wheels - maybe a set of the RS wheels would suit it better

 

Cant say i really like it tbh.. Looks more like the fiesta mixed with a mazda and a peugeot.. Much prefer the current RS/ST

 

i really like it, and the estate version looks very smart aswell!

 

Back lights are gash and I'd have expected a new wheel design for a brand new model... does anyone have any pictures of the Estate version??

Anyone know when these are actually being released?
My old man will be after a new car Aprilish to replace his V50 T5, this could be a go-er if it's out in time! Although he's taken a fancy to the new Audi Q3 2.0 TFSi

 

I think late 2012 has been mentioned for the estate, dont know if anyone knows a more accurate date though? Being ford though i'd expect early 2013?
