Default MS Access help...

Am trying to do my IT coursework, but I don't understand access at all....so dumb question...

how to I assign a macro to a button? So when you click the button it goes to a different table etc...

As I recall, the function you describe is more of a hyperlink.......
It is nearly two years since I built our virtual job-card database. It took fookin' ages.
A mate who runs a garage nearby had built a database a year or two before, so I went begging for help from him.
The advice he gave me did help. He didn't give me any specific Access help, but told me this:
"You do crosswords, yes? Well after a while of doing a particular (newspaper) crossword, you get to understand the thinking processes of the man that set the puzzle.
Access is the same. Keep bashing away at it, fucking it up in the process! There will come a sudden moment when you understand the man's thinking!"

I plodded on, and was near ready to give up and "buy in" specialist help.
Suddenly, after so many mistakes, it came, like one of those "Eureka!" moments.
