GT3076HTA turbo
what are they like on a yb? apparently a company called owen developments take a GTX30 ad uprate the weak parts making the HTA model
my father in law has ordered one for his 4x4 sapph
what is needed to run it on 2wd manifold with Tial 44mm external wastegate?
anyone got pictures of one fitted?

Not seen one on a YB but I have something similar on my focus, Owen's GT3076r with the metal caged bearings, anodised red billet comp wheel etc, seems to work ok, not cheap though!

The HTA was around before the GTX from what I remember.
Effectively it's an extended tip billet wheel which allows greater efficiency at higher boost.
They're ideal if you intend on running 2.5 bar held.

Cheers this one going on an A1 built engine with 6 long studs Swedish inlet bd14 inlet std exhaust cam. up rated head and multi layer gasket. Think he paid 1500 for it.

Yeah i now i've bought some stuff in the past and never had any problems. I will go to the police to put a complaint against him for fraud.

Only that it's turned up. It's like turbo porn to look at.
Not fitted yet. Engine getting built up. Oppliger gearbox also turned up along with 3part clutch small flywheel and hydraulic clutch system.
Should be interesting. Hoping to go see guzzler at power engineering in the next few months for mapping.

Bit delayed due to him having house extension.
But it's getting built up at the moment. Oppliger gearbox in. Head turned up with some fancy cnc profiled cams.
Been told to expect 500bhp 500 torque.
Ecu? Can you run this through standard?
