That's er..... different lol! If it's just for a daily smoker I wouldn't be concerned, if it isn't blowing. If it was for a car with performance in mind, then I'd definitely be replacing it.
Kind of depends yes it does look a bit of a bodge but if money was really tight and it lasted a few months and the owner was aware of it no harm done, however if you paid for a good repair and found that not so good.
The ironic thing about this is that I pointed out on a forum that it was a bodge and that the new owner should sort it asap and promptly got banned for 'for behaviour not becoming of a friendly site.'
The fact that the previous owner of the car and perpetrator of said 'work' was an admin on the site probably didnt help!
At least its not on my car!

To be fair, the absense of carbon deposits around the joint above, although a total bodge, suggest at least it sealing....which is more than can be said about the WELDED joint on the Fakcos Powerflow system.

Looks a mess but if it it's fit for purpose then fair enough. Just makes you wonder what else has been bodged on the car! Could have a sleeve put over it?
