Red to a black/red trace will run the pump constantly.

i have bridged these wires to pump run constantly.
it isnt the big purple relay!
its a small yellow 1.
pump is running constantly but not putting fuel forward to the engine.

i have just fitted new tank and fuel lines.
it sounds like the fuel pump is blowing instead of sucking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
is this possible????????????????
multi plug on the wrong way round???????????????
any ideas???????????
