the engine is a turbosystems spec jobbie he suggested what parts to use and what compression ratio ect, i got all the machine work and head porting done by/through him he also supplied my tubo wich is a touring car spec t4 the only doubtful part is the inlet plenum wich is a eeciv item and im not sure if that is up to the job when he live mapped it for me he advised to maybe use a heart power plenum cover or better still a propper 500 one and im unsure if my cams will be good enough bd 14,s ?

as dave said depending on spec anywhere from 520-550 hp flat out. There are stories of the old touring cars doing 600+ but I don't think that even if all else was perfect the t4 could physically flow enough air.

I think it's around 560 bhp, but I was told the turbo won't last as long, bit like a T34 running loads of boost.

The inlet you are using is perfect , nice and reponsive which will help the "laggy" T4 . bBut as said in earlier posts , its all about the fuel delivery and mapping.

Are you even allowed to run a sequential box in the series you plan to enter ?

I've got a modified version of the EEC 4 inlet using a extra 4 injectors mounted the same as the rs500 ones and according to the guy that had the engine done by HT there is nothing between mine and the 500 inlet on a engine specced like yours, well apart from the cost ofcourse lol

The original owner of mine who raced it back in 1993 said you would get 2 qualifying laps to a turbo on full power ( a claimed 565hp) just shows how things have moved on !

Yeah sequential will be fine it will just put me in class a against the guy I bought my shell off and rod birley to run in class b i would have to use a std t5 casing and there is not a decent gearkit avalable for those imo my tko puts me in class a anyway but weighs a ton and shifting is slow , I am defianatly going to get a hart plenum I have heard nothing but good about them and it can only help
