Default Is the colder damper weather affecting anyones cars?

Mine has started to show gremlins, electrically.

Battery is showing signs of failing after i checked it with the multimeter on a couple of occasions after some strange starting issues from cold, the battery light has flickered on the dash a couple of times this week and the charging reading given on the alternator are unusually up and down like its struggling, so i think ive got a combo of half knackered dying battery and dying alternator, past couple of days my starter motor has started squealing and jumping when started from cold.

Last year the cold killed my central locking on my mk3 mondeo and one of the window motors went up it, did a battery too and a alternator

Joyful.

Mine runs better in the damp and cold I think the moisture makes a better earth than the actual metal
