Default NO GO

Just had my ERST CVH engine running today for a while, it ran fine apart from a bit of a missfire so i stopped the engine and took the plugs out to clean them, just with a wire brush and a cloth as you usualy do, put them back in (Firind order is right btw) and it just wouldnt start or even fire!, fuel is ok as ive had the plugs out and they are wet and there is a good spark, any ideas anyone? CheeRS in advance. pete

Mite be a loss of compression, duue to a headgasket or summit do a compression test to find out also check for any loss of coolant , and or emusifies(mayo) oil in the oil filler cap/ dipstick

wire brushing has opened the gap on the plug. Recheck the gap is all i can think of.

You have put the right HT leads on the correct plugs?

Replace the plugs. I used to clean mine but for a few ££ its not worth it.

Could you have damaged one of the leads as you took them off the plugs ? (i have done that )

Gonna say the same as Andy with the plugs and leads...

I have cleaned em before and not niticed I have slightly bent or moved the tip and thats fooked up the gap, and also taken the lead(s) off and one has fooked inside...

New leads and new plugs - change from £20 if you know the right place to go, and even if it don't solve the issue, at least you have eliminated it.....

This is why I am glad I don't own cars anymore tho Sorry
