Are ford parts better than parts from autostores better and worth the bit extra such as service items brake pads etc or am I being a tit always feel that if your don't use ford parts my cars not 100% ford lol I even put michelin tyres on car cause that is what was on it when new

 

It depends on what parts and what make you buy.

Say if you buy Bosch fuel pump it's exact same as part you'd get from ford anyway.

 

ford or any car maker don't make 90% of the parts on the car but out source it to oem (original equipment manufactures) company's; bosch siemens valeo ect oem's often sell parts to motor factors; ding bro, gfs, avs, eurocarparts ect, which mostly take a minimal cut on the parts not like dealers that require lube.
