Seems like GTX2867R turbo map similar with GT3071 but will has better responce. And I think GTX2860R map will be similar with T34.63 but with much better responce.

Been waiting for that to happen, seemed like technology that would scale down.

Should be great for people wanting to make big power out of a small engine that they can take such big pressure ratios.

Not sure I'd ever want a 1 litre engine with 3 bar of boost down its neck personally, would just use a bigger engine instead but Im sure the bikers will be over the moon!

Chip from those graphs, How much do you think the presure ratio will corespond with boost presure? Is it likely that 2 on the graph scale will still be equal to 1bar atmospheric?

 

Pressure ratio means its based on whatever pressure you have at the inlet side of the turbo, with a decent inlet filter and in a low country like england thats going to be very close to atmospheric yes mate.

So the 2 there is essentially 1 bar of boost, and the 4 is 3 bar of boost.

 

Looks like I might need to buy a new Map sensor and get the Omex recaliberated.

Iv been umming and ahing whether to go for a GT3071 with a .82 hot side or some sort of GT28 for ages. Looking for a reliable 300 on moderate boost and would like to push 400 but with the best response I can get, so if these GTX28s do as the comp map says I think I havefound my perfect turbo. For a C20LET may I add.

By the way GTX2867 will be available with T3 internal gated flange and seems like it will produce about 450-470hp like old t38.

 

Thatbwould b great in a road car, 450bhp but spooling like std!

 

Assuming they follow the same pattern as with the GTX30, you'll even be able to use an existing GT28 housing.

i have one here but cant deside on the turbine size the 60mm gt30 or the smaller 56mm[i think its 56mm ]i have a gt30 60mm t28 exhaust housing here ,if the newer ones use a smaller turbine wheel then i will have to fine a different turbine housing may be a gt28rs and have the wheel nocked out to a bigger size
