Default what is the benefit of live mapping?

as above guys im going to get my car sorted but what is the benefit of live mapping over an of the shelf chip and set up?

well all engines are slightly different so with a live map its done 100% to your car not a copy of someones else car, off the shelf chips have timing way to far back, so the tuner covers there self not to brake your engine, which makes the map so lazy.

take your car to harvey gibbs do right do it once!

you get the very best out of your spec basically

just make sure you take it to someone who knows what they are doing, who do you plan on taking it to?

Gonna be nms or mad not sure if mad do it though. They the nearest 2 i think thought about msd but its just too far.

if your on weber management then MAD dont map it, NMS on the other hand do.

Reyland would probably be your nearest (Birmingham), i think he maps weber

personly i dont think on a st1 as yours is m8 its not worth it

Yes on a stage 1 dont bother or go for a norris motorsport gunship on stage 1 fuck me they are fast! had a gunship on a 4x4 saff that had done 145000 miles on original engine, would put a stage 3 to shame!

agreed,

If your only at stage 1 i wouldnt bother personally

a decent off the shelf chip will be fine

Well i think my chip has to go was thinking stage 3 greens etc but also spoke karl and he mentioned the gunship which gets very good reviews.

Dave do you think this would sort the fuelling got a new fuel pump and wiring
