Default I want to rolling road my BMW, possible problems?

Just a quick one, is it possible to rolling road an E39 BMW 530d? My two concerns are that the traction control won't like it, even switched off, and that it won't be able to hold a gear from low enough down to get a good reading?

The auto box has manual mode, but will shift if you labour it too much in gear. Really I only want to RR it tosee if it's close to standard power/torque before I decide if i am going to modify it!

traction control isn't a problem, some later ones won't run up properly unless bonnet is closed.

Auto box shouldn't be a huge issue either, you can't do a full run in one gear like you can a manual but you should be able in sport to get it to rev from whatever rpm that gear starts to the peak power rpm where it would shift up a gear. as far as i'm aware!
