Default I have seen the light.

Took my saph cossie out for a long drive earlier and i have decided that she is no longer for sale. So i now need to find some more money to spend on the old girl for the hunt for more power.

Its just the fact that all cossie's turn heads, in fact most fords turn heads. There is nothing else that i could own that would give me the same thrill as the saph.

I think you've made the right decision I shouldn't have sold mine and I keep thinking about selling my M3 and buying a lovely 4x4 Sapph as a daily driver

i used to do that, but it kinda takes the fun out of it, especially if the commute is in traffic. also as long as your ok with scuffs and scrapes as no matter how hard you try, they do happen.

True it is a practical car if it's a good one. I want a good one so therefore I will be too paranoid to leave it anywhere, don't want carpark dings, wouldn't want to use it over the winter to keep it good and i've found in the past using an old ford every day in all weathers just degrades it

I've got my eye on one but I need to get rid of my series one before it shifts, it's not often one I like comes up for sale at sensible monies!

The factory originals are spherical joints and not bushes. They are designed to only move smoothly in the plane of movement that the trailing arm moves and offer very play elsewhere.
A very high quality part.

Have you been in a 500+ bhp Evo 6,7 or 8 that has half decent suspension? If not then i would hold your judgement on that statement until you have If you have then each to their own

I love evo 8s ford should of built a car like this instead of the ST mondeos.

You cant really compare old antique sierras to the modern technology that evos have.

Funny u should say that I used to drive all sorts of jap metal used to work for a importer. Drove a evo4 with 500 plus. They are impressive but I enjoy my fords more though. Sad I know but there ya go.

Why would he want a piece of rubbish that rots more than a Ford?

Because he isnt talking about a rotting chassis. He is talking about no other car out there could give him the same thrill as his sapph. I very much doubt rust/rot comes into the equation
