Gets in my car (mk2 xr2) this morning to go to work 6:50am notice my glovebox is open so closes it knew i hadnt left it open, sets off reversing and the passenger door swings open!! im like wtf!! then notice my mates mk3 escort turbo which is at my house, his door is wide open and the door is open on my laguna and my dads mondeo the thieving little cunts they have taken all my cds and my mates stereo out of his turb!!! All cars were unlocked (i know im a daft cunt for leaving them open) but theres nothing left in them of any real value and its just the fact that they have been on my property rooting thru all my motors whilst im asleep!!! Rant over!

i leave my doors unlocked as few years back our road got all the cars done bent doors back ect only mine was unlocked so no damage was done and fuck all taken!

Shouldnt have to lock your car out of principle. but sadly these days you need to. i guess your insurance for theft is void when unlocked.

I left my car open just one night. Totally forgot and that night the shites took my stereo and all my cds. It was coded but in this day an age means nothing!
It was horrid sitting in there knowing someone else had been in my car..

 

I'm very sure that often these scumbags walk the streets trying every car door in the hope someone forgets...

I leave my car unlocked most nights but only cause the central locking's fooked and the alarm sometimes goes off at night if i lock it manually.

I wouldn't be surprised if the thief came on this forum and asked for the security code as they're so easy to get off here.

 

when we stayed on the farm we used to leave the keys in the ignition overnight
