i'd have one - they come in handy for long journeys, especially up and down the motorway.
What makes me laugh is all these people saying dont do it, yet when you go to a show you see countless people taping their car up before they leave as dont want to get stone chips - that is gay as fuck to me

Thing is and a way to look at it.
Would you rather spend (once), 40/50 quid, what ever it is, on a bonnet bra to save your paint or spend at least 100 every so often getting it resprayed. Swings and round abouts IMO. I know what I would go for if I would falk out for one, but then I am a Submariner lol, so would be as all call it the gay option lol.

Bonnet Bra's fuck the paint up anyway! Grit gets under them, and as they move slightly, it scratches. Even worse if it rains while its on, as the water gets trapped and lifts the laquer! Ruined my mates polo bonnet in no time.
ive got some nasty stone chips travelling to and from shows this year and doing a fair bit of motorway mileage so this would come in handy.
Wouldnt drive around town with it on. Only on long trips and would just leave it on until i get home again (so there may be some town driving, but not where i live so dont care) lol

I would only put it on for long journeys and take it off once I get home
(Group buy)That would be brilliant. I reckon a few would be interested on here.
(POLO Bonnet)Same here or do something like massivly wax the bonnet underneath the bra. I would be taking it off regulary to check and clean it if I was to keep the bra on all the time.

He was removing it every few days and cleaning everything, then waxing underneath. People don't realise quite how quickly damage can be done! But, if leaving it on for only a few hours you should be ok.
oh dear thats not good. obviously as you said with it rubbing on the bonnet that caused it. maybe a sheet i.e. clothe cut to size inbetween the bonnet and bra would cure the problem.
I prefare stonechips.
It's a car, drive it, use it, enjoy it!! Don't worry about it!
Can't understand why you worry about things like stonechips but not how stupid you look with a bra on!
But, as I said earlier, good on you for standing out in the crowd..
