Default Turbo dampner help

as above i got this from a mate and have no fitting instrutions so dont know how to adjust it properly
can someone tell me how to make sure its adjusted right ?

its not a damper its a hanger it just helps with the weight of the turbo on the manifold

It damps the vibration though !!!!!!

Anyway, undo the top bolt, warm up the car to normal temps and then adjust the length of the fitting so you can fit the top bolt back in. Lock the length with the lock nut.

Makes the vibration worse , the rs500 version stops the vibration/resonance as i have found out after swapping from the hanger type to the horseshoe type

Sorry but how can it dampen its ridged its there to take some of the strain off the manifold studs by supporting the weight from the top.

Looks like 4x4 head. Is it sitting on a 4x4 manifold?? if so the damper / hanger isnt needed is it ??

As above, used to get an evil vibration between 2&3k rpm with that style of hanger
