As Kev said I will be doing it soon.

Just as soon as I cross his palms with some silver for the throttle body!!

That's my inlet but not sure how the clearance would be with the ISCV fitted as they are quite long, could turn it around perhaps?

Actually, looking at the angle of the ISCV, it may well clear the bracket ok!

I havent got mine back yet as there having trouble sorting the bracket out. So if they carnt ill make some thing up when i get it on the car just wanted to see what others have done but it dont look that bad looking at yours . Joe said he was going to get someone to make some thing up along the lines of the 2wd one they sell (looks like 2 bits of wire with the mount in the middle) But then looking at your pic there isent the bracket meant to sit in front of the throttle body

My bracket is from Spec R - think off the top of my head they are around £40

One thing i found with mine is the hole taps in the inlet to mount the fuel rail is slightly high in the lug and make the rail sit slightly higher at the front which is making me nervous - i know mine ran on Dave Escos (who i bought it off so it must have been fine) but check yours to make sure

Also if anyone has the size and thread of the small holes for the vacuum fittings can you post it up

Steve it doesn't matter your throttle linkage looks to have the same principle as the 2wd - if you look at where the throttle bracket goes around the part where the ISCV fits the ST is more vertical so clearance issues wouldn't be an problem - the only thing is you have a different bolt diameter but i'm sure Pete can sort that for you.

See from this picture they are virtually the same and the bracket i have would work for that

Ive been told that the linkage is a problem by joe stevens thats whys he is trying to sort out what to do at the mo he says he has only done a few on that throttle body. Thats why id asked on here as i may have to make my own bracket which dosent bother me but just wonted to see what others may have done when using the escort throttle body

Glad u got it sorted. Just a headache to fit. Is it going in a 4x4? You'll have to move two brake pipes if so. Literally a few mm..

Ah fair enough. I guess these inlets get pretty close to the 2wd power steering pump then. Mines a late 4x4 so its under the turbo but I did have to move the fluid bottle off the wing as that was hitting too

Good luck with it all

it did take a long time but he had a few made! i only waited as its only 500 pounds and the gains it gives can be so good with the right bits! you just have to look and what they got out of it on rods engine over the rs500 one

So you paid out twice as much for the sake of a bracket

More money than sense

i was lucky as i bought it off a good mate and it was really cheap at £800 plus i took into account that you have to mod quite a few things to get the heart plenum to fit all in all it prob worked out at the same price imo !
