Default cosworth boa v6 help needed, whos got one??

hi looking for a little help and knowing where a vacuum hose from the inlet manifold is meant to go?? its the one right in the middle at the back of the inlet manifold? car is idling badly and this hose has been blocked of. there is also a regulator of some description on the left hand side of the engine with no hose on it at all, just wondered if they should be joined.... bought the car like this....... cheers

if it's a granada then yes, it has a speed sensor, but if it's got an mt75 or type 9 box bolted to the back then someoens not hooked up the speedo cable
