Default Camber problem on 2wd sapphire

Hey folks, I've noticed a bit of negative camber on the driver side front wheel on my sierra. It's been like this since I bought the car over a year ago & I always thought it mite of been the hub was bent. While fitting new tcas I replaced the hub with a spare one I had &it didnt make any difference. Also tried 2 other different shocks & had no luck with that either. I bought a cheapy set of camber gauges & it reads 1.5 deg positive on passenger side &1 deg negative on driver side with the car jacked up. The cheap gauges go on the brake disc so had to take the wheels off. Shouldn't both side be the same or close to each other? Going to do some more measurements over the weekend. Cross member looks ok but could the strut tower be turned in a bit or bent? Thanks.

Doesn't look to have been damaged but could have been sideways in to kerb or over a few bad speed bumps in it's life. No not wearing tyre at all but it's annoying me cuz it's noticeable & I can feel it driving it. Thanks for replys lads il try to get pics up when I get her back on wheels.

Yea that's very similar to the way mine sits. Bottom arms are a matching set but even so it was like that with the old arms as well. It's only now if got my finger out to try & find the problem. Its never my luck to sort things like this easy! Thanks for help & pics fellas.

i'd be inclined to have the chassis checked for straightness.

Done a lot of messing about with this today, changed cross member & made no difference then we done a bit of measuring. Driver side strut tower is turned in a bit but no damage to chassis legs. Slight kink in inner wing but hardly noticeable. I'm taking her up to work to get put on the bench nxt week so hope to get her sorted. Thanks.

sometimes if it's had uprated suspension on it could bend the strut top in. it would only take a small amount at the top wich would exagerate it at the bottom. if youv'e got a kink in the inner wing i'd say it's probably had a bump in the past. hope you get it sorted.

yea checked it bloomers, even with the top rubber off & the stut loose i still cant make it get anywhere near the right camber. no strut brace fitted andy but will be if i get her fixed. not worried to much about the whole thing as its far from a concourse cossie but odd angled wheels really annoy me so il have to fix her one way or the other! cheers.
