Default saff cossie T3 turbos

Just a quick question which i think i know the answer to but just want to be certain.

Are 2wd drive saff cossie T3 turbos different to 4x4 saff cossie T3 rurbos. Are they different where they bolt onto the manifolds cause i know the 2wd saff manifold is different to a 4x4.

They have different housing sizes IIRC, but each turbo will fit each manifold.

So your saying a 2wd saff T3 turbo would fit on a 4x4 manifold.
Would i have to modify any pipes.

Jimbo i take it that means the compresser wheel is bigger. Will this affect the performance of the car.

If you had the 2 turbos sat side by side would you be able to tell me which turbo is for a standard 4x4 turbo out of the 2.

Near enough but a 2wd t3 has studs in the bottom of the exhaust housing to mount on the 2wd trouser section

The 4x4 has the studs on the manifold. So there are holes for them on the turbo.

If you use a 4x4 t3 on a 2wd you can use short bolts with nuts
But if you are using 2wd on a 4x4 you have to take the studs out and drill to 8mm I think .
Hope this helps
