that big car cruise that was held at bovingdon air field
was on a sunday
cant remember the date

was a quality day that
was thinking about it today at work

 

I remember a meet that was held at a very similar sounding place, might even be the same place, and they used to have a stock car race round an oval, then at the interval, you could take your road car on and do a timed lap, the winner at the end of the season got a trophy I think.

 

wasnt the bovi cruise then

on that day there was a big smash up with a scoobi and a pulsar gtr and a bit of a punch up after

there must have been over 200 cars there going mad all day non stop
basically 2 cones about quarter mile apart and a 1 way system

 

Sounds like the same place, but my memories are from before the cruise I guess, very early 90's.

There was a long stretch, which used host a market, that we used to blast along

 

The smash was 2001 I was there in my Saff givin it large lol

 

that cruise was the best one ever

i bought my first series 2 the following week and blew the box the same day lol
