Right well bascially i have a fiesta ST with a zetec turbo engine in, quite a reasonable spec

Area six inlet manifold
Ported head
Devil developments exhaust manifold
GTX3076
Steel bottom end
Cat cams


The usual stuff, its running 350bhp at 1 bar on a base map at the moment, now i got to upgrade the fuel pump as that gives up at about 440bhp and im looking to break the 500bhp mark

Now heres what i want to do, 500bhp fwd isnt going to go down well, so i was thinking on 4wd my fiesta using the EVO running gear, but should i use my zetec engine or use all the EVO stuff including the engine...?

What ever happens it will be breaking the 500bhp mark, and the car will mainly be used for drag racing and maybe a little bit of track racing?

Whats peoples thoughts...?

 

i think theres been quite a few cars that have used the entire evo running gear. would certainly be different... which is good do it!

Yer there is that, but i like to be different, my fiesta is near enough standard looking from the outside, just got some 330mm 6 pots on the front, and so no one expects it to be a little quick, i want the same idea you know... plus i like my little coupe's, evo's too big for my liking!

I think it would be alot easier to mount all the running gear and the evo engine as it would save cutting the bell housings around and playing around with flywheels and clutches... plus the evo engine is a much better engine!

Use all the evo parts the zetec engine at that power level will cause problems.
