Default Tranporting a car a long way!

Chaps,

Anyone know how I could get a car transported to cornwall?! The guy I would normally use said its too far as it goes over his per day tacho limit. Any ideas??

Is the car a non runner? Hire a trailer and borrow a car with a tow bar.

Yeah I thought about that, but I don't really wanna drive 500 miles to deliver it to be honest. Thats an option for sure, but I'd prefer to get it transported if at all possible.

Tell your guy to leave in the evening, drop the car off at Midnight then travel back the next day.

Same journey split over 2 days!!

There are people that specialise in long distance car transportation like that. A friend sold a beetle to a guy in scotland and a car transporter turned up (a big articulated one, not a transit flatbed) and took it up there, collecting others on the way.

hire a trailer and just as above, or maybe get someone closer to the vehicle to bring it to you
