Basically i am putting the ST170 engine into me 1.6. the only thing that the ST doesnt have that my 1.6 does is the heated screen. Obviously i know i can change the screen but what about the loom? Is it a plug and play kinda job or will i have to rewire it all in?

The loom is quite straight forward, but it does however interact with the ECU, (So it auto powers off etc) I don't see why you would want to change the screen.

I presume you are going to be fitting the "Black Oak" engine management from the ST, in the conversion, if so you will just have to connect the screen connections to this (Once you have found out the pins)

As it must have been an option on the ST?

my st170 came with a heated screen on the climate pack i think so more than likely connection probably already in loom
