hi there ppl i put a thread up yestoday saying that i saw a s2 for sale for £1200 and the man siad the only thing rong with it was that it lags on the top end of the turbo and i dont no what that can be. alot of ppl was saying that its going to be rust and no good but i did go and have alook at the car today when the man was at work i didont realy see no rust to be honest here are the pic tell me what you think not the best pics

as i latter give the man a call about the car and what he ment about the lag in the turbo he told me it has had a 2 liter turbo put on it my this be somthink to do with the lag at top end turbo ? it will be my first rs and need abit of help thanks ben

Have you checkwd under the boot floor carpet for rust.Also check under the bonnet around.where the battery is.

What about the front crossmember, rear arches, bootfloor, fusebox area, battery tray, chassis rails, round the sunroof, in the corners of the rear panel, bottoms and tops of the doors, scuttle panel??? loads of places to check mate

 

wait till the kits off then your in for trouble. I can see some cable tie engineering underneath as well. Mines looked like a show car compared to that when i got it and i got a shock when i stripped it. It was rotten and got scrapped

 

Me personaly, I would'nt touch it. If you fancy a project & heartbreak go for it.
