Default The end of two era's for me :(

well I'm pretty sad just lately, the engine in my escort has sold, so thats y just finished perfect escort going back to standard power and the second, my dad has sold the pretty famous SCS escort cosworth. I'll be honest, I had a little tear when it drove away on the back of the trailer

First off the escos, it took us two years to build this, and it just got better and better over the next two years of owning it, this car seriously concentrated the brain, but the rewards was incredible. The power was addictive, when on boost the acceleration was absolutely mental, the grip, (then the lack of it in fourth gear with all four hot slicks alight ), just MENTAL, will seriously miss it.

Then my first car, my little baby. It's undergone so many changes, breaking gearboxes, engines, brakes, the lot. Ive only just got it 100% right tbh, and out on track at ford fair was awesome, such a rewarding little car to drive. I don't think the gtr expected me to put up such a fight out the corner and through 3rd

Now the engines gone, she will just be a standard run about for college

So there it is, two of my favourite cars finished, we both have new toys so I guess that's a bonus, just sucks right now

Jim

Big shame matey, your Escort was the best MK5 in the UK IMO. Can sell me the splitter now

Look forward to seeing both the new projects progress. Well, yours isn't so new, but even so!

why did you sell your engine? i'd say you were in maybe 5% of modified car owners who could say their project was, at one point at least finished

Bigger and better bro, always remember that You have more good memories than bad with both cars and just think about how much you've learned from building those 2 cars alone.

I can't wait to see how the Saph will turn out and how your dad's car will innevitably be better than the first.

It'll be alreet

P.S. you're still a 4th gear cheating little skip rat!!!

I have too many good memories of Kagga! Bless her, what a first car eh? Nothing will rip up Lincoln road like our two little cars did...... oh wait yes they will, 2 white flame spitting cossies!

Man up, grow a pair and get that cossie done. I might just beat you to it

RIP Kagga

As for your Dads car, nothing much to say about it! Iconic, Legendary fast ford! Amazing job you lot did! I was lucky enough to have a little ride out

PS, are the drums for sale? I wouldn't mind putting them on the cossie pmsl
