please can someone help me??
i have bought a fiesta rst that has been converted by ian howell at area-six, it is a 2.1ltr zetec silver top, running 300bhp.
the problem I've got is when the engine reaches optimum running temp it starts too miss-fire and splutter then cuts owt when im moving. then when i try too restart it i turn the key in the barrel 1click too prime the injectors and soon as i do that theres a horrible clicking sound like an electricity arc, but its not constant its intermittent and random.
the car will start but surges and bogs down when ticking idle. she sounds like a dog

i will really appreciate if you could shed some light on the problem or point me in the direction of a competent trustworthy tuners

you cant take it back to ian howells?

 

sounds like its a fuel pump problem. do you have a spare coil too?

 

i have been trying too get in ttouch with him 4 ages m8. area-six phone is just ringing owt. sent him a long message on facebook but had no reply, soo frustrating wish i done mechanical engineering now instead of joinery haha

 

ill check the pump m8 chears, and change the coil because iv just recently changed the plugs and leads so they have possibly stressed it.
looks like is going too be a process of elimination

your better off phoning ian in the early evening or email via his site , thats what i found best to get a hold of him
