focus rs hesitation when turning left?!
Hi Guys,
my rs seems to have decided that when turning left it will hesitate very badly. However turning right it is fine and as soon as it is in a striaght line it is also happy.
Any idea's? My gut instinct at first was a power steering sensor, but because its not doing it when turning right i am slightly stumped now.
Thanks

Remove and check the crank sensor. I had the same issue on a customers car, the top of the sensor had been damaged. I replaced the sensor, and it happened again within a month. When I removed the new one it was also damaged (excess thrust on the crank). Fitted a new one, but placed a small washer between the sensor and the block, never happened again
